Say NO to Dirty Coal Plants!

Georgia's economy, clean air and clean water are threatened by three proposed coal-fired power plants which will evaporate hundreds of millions of gallons of water from our rivers and aquifers every year, add tons of toxic air pollutants, and contaminate our fish with mercury.

By signing this petition, you are saying NO to the construction of 3 proposed dirty coal plants in Georgia.  The three proposed DIRTY coal plants are Plant Ben Hill in Ben Hill County, Plant Washington in Washington County and Plant Longleaf in Early County. 

Your petition will be used to show EPD and government officials that citizens care about the health of their families, the health of our rivers, lakes, and streams, the quality of air we breathe, the destruction of our communities, the decrease in our property values and the destruction of the areas from where the coal will be mined.
